MACONDO Carousel book featuring the town of Macondo

This is my Final Outcome for my L5 module, Book Arts. It’s a carousel book featuring the Town of Macondo from 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez.

It’s in three layers, rendered using ink wash, acrylic markers, gel pens and ink pens. The front and middle panels are cut out around the illustrations to create a 3-D effect. Swipe to see all the panels.
